Little did I know 7 months ago when I signed up that I would already be here, preparing to leave 48 hours. All the feelings that are building up in response to leaving are overwhelming. One minute I am excited and ready for the next nine months and another I am stressed and sad about leaving all my friends and family. 

Over the last few months I have seen reason after reason to go on this trip. Even when I was stressed and about to quit because I wasn’t sure that I was ready to go on this trip, there were things that would come up that would remind me that I am going where I am supposed to be. 

In the last two weeks our first changes to our original plan have come up. The biggest change is that for our first country, instead of going to Eswatini first we will be going to Costa Rica. 

Its time to start this big crazy adventure!
